Creating a macro should include

  • defining macroā€”a saved series of commands and keystrokes used to record repetitive phrases such as the complimentary close of a letter
  • starting the macro recorder
  • performing prescribed sequence of actions
  • using the keypad to activate the macro
  • keeping a record of macros created and the number/function assigned to them for easy retrieval
  • entering and verifying names and addresses in the macro for company contacts.
