    • resources
  • comparing and contrasting the effects of authoritative and permissive styles on families.

Thinking

  • What traits should you consider when defining family structures?
  • What are the strengths and weaknesses of an authoritative family style? What about a permissive family style?

Communication

  • How can you be sure you are sensitive to all different family structures?
  • What is the advantage of showcasing this sensitivity?

Leadership

  • How can one member of a family unit fairly consider the perspectives of all other family members?
  • How is cooperation vital within a family unit?

Management

  • What consequences may result if one member of a family doesn’t respect or value the family systems?
