- analyzing the rationale for seeking a job change
- searching for jobs
- weighing the potential effects of a job change
- preparing to leave a job (e.g., giving proper notice [two weeks] to one’s present employer).

- How would a worker inform an employer of a job change?
- Why do people say it is easier to get a job when you have a job?
