Evaluation should include hazards related to
- substances
- volatile substances
- improper storage of chemicals
- tools and equipment
- improper operating procedures
- damaged tools or malfunctioning equipment, or choosing the wrong tool for the job
- facilities problems
- damaged electrical cables, or electricity hazards (e.g., water)
- employee behavior
- inappropriate work attire
- failure to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- poor laddering techniques
- improper lifting techniques.
Evaluation should include an appropriate response.
