Analyze credit card features and their impact on personal financial planning.
Analysis should include
- comparing the impact of features on personal financial planning, such as those included in the Schumer Box (annual percentage rate [APR], annual fees, balance transfers, cash advances, grace periods, finance calculation, and other transaction fees), and non-Schumer Box features (compound interest, penalty rates and fees, credit line, promotional incentives, balance transfers, cash advances, account disclosure statement, and minimum payments)
- calculating costs such as APR, annual fees, compound interest, and penalty charges
- examining the Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure (CARD) Act of 2009.
