Disinfect work areas.

Disinfecting should be performed on work areas such as the lounge, the stock room, individual stations, and the shampoo area. Disinfecting should include, but not be limited to,

  • removing dust and dirt from areas
  • using U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered disinfectants according to manufacturer specifications
  • wiping surfaces after each use
  • disposing of regular and hazardous waste in proper containers.
