Performance should include

• establishing the hair strength and condition to determine if hair can be safely corrected
• establishing the true color problem (tone and level)
• establishing the cause of the problem (products used)
• establishing the most suitable remedy for the client
• taking a strand test for accuracy
• filling out client record card.
