- effective verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- attentiveness
- erect posture, eye contact, a firm handshake, and other appropriate body language
- honesty
- reasonable knowledge about the employer/company
- acceptable responses to interview questions
- required documentation in hand.

- How can body language make or break an interview?
- How can an interviewee exhibit professional courtesy?
