Obtaining vital signs should include monitoring and recording
- blood pressure (manually and electronically)
- pulse (manually and electronically)
- apical pulse
- apical-radial deficit
- respirations (manually and electronically)
- pulse oximetry
- temperature (i.e., oral, rectal, tympanic, and temporal)
- pain scale.
