Prepare a surgical pack for sterilization.
Preparation should include
- gathering the appropriate instruments, supplies, and instrument pan
- selecting the appropriate packaging material and chemical indicator
- assembling the pack by following the instructions on the checklist
- placing the chemical indicator in the correct area of the pack
- properly wrapping, securing, and labeling the pack.
