Demonstrate end-of-shift communication by giving an end-of-shift report and documenting with 100 percent accuracy on a client’s/resident’s/patient’s activities of daily living (ADL) record.
Demonstration includes a shift report
- being received at beginning of shift from previous shift (given to on-coming shift before CNA leaves unit at the end of the shift)
- including observations of changes in condition or behavior of the client/resident/patient.
