Performing with basic and body-system-specific diagnostic tests in a clinical setting should include the following:

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) (e.g., stress test [nuclear or exercise])
  • Holter monitor
  • Vision test
  • Hearing screening
  • Spirometry
  • Pregnancy test
  • Stool test (e.g., fecal, hemoccult, ova, and parasites)
  • Throat culture
  • Allergy test
  • Human papillomavirus (Pap) smear
  • Glucose test (e.g., hematologic, micrologic)
  • Nasal swab (e.g., Covid, influenza)
  • Drug screen (e.g., chain of custody)
  • Urinalysis  (e.g., methods of collection)
  • Vital signs
