Define privacy policy.

Definition should include a description and illustration of basic U.S. consumer rights (i.e., the right to be informed, to be safe, to choose, and to be heard). It should also relate these consumer rights to U.S. citizens’ right to privacy and to the health of the U.S. economy.

Definition should also include aspects of a privacy policy, which should specify how a company collects, processes, stores, and manages customer information in ways that prevent data from exposure to unauthorized persons or organizations.
