Fabricate sheet metal.

Fabrication should include

• selecting sheet metal according to the rules and regulations required for the motorsports project
• preparing a clean and safe work area and table
• laying out the design
• designing and cutting a template out of the desired material
• checking alignment of the design
• transferring the template to the sheet metal
• cutting out the design
• deburring the sheet metal
• bead rolling the sheet metal, if applicable
• rechecking the design for proper fit
• installing and securing as needed (pop rivet, tack weld).
