Demonstrate the use of a tubing bender.
Demonstration should include the following steps:
- Select the tubing size.
- Select the tubing shoe and follower.
- Set up the hydraulic pump and shoe.
- Measure and write down the dimensions and draw the design.
- Acquire a digital level and/or protractor, T-square, framing square, tape measure, and marking tools (i.e., scribe, magic marker, pencil).
- Use a flat, level table.
- Insert the tubing into the bender and bend to the pre-selected angle.
- Continue step 7 until the tubing is bent according to the drawings.
