Perform safety inspections of all equipment and accessories.

Performance should include a visual inspection of the following GTAW equipment and accessories daily, in accordance with instructor or employer policy:

• Regulator
• Hoses
• Welding leads (e.g., gun, torch, ground cable)

• What issues can happen when equipment is not checked and/or replaced during routine maintenance?
• What issues can inspection reveal?
