- environmental factors
- family relationships
- experiences
- relationships with friends and others
- cultural factors
- internal factors (i.e., beliefs and values about personal worth).

- How do we acquire our family individual values?

- What effect can you have on these factors?
- Can you influence your self-concept and the self-concept of others? Why or why not?
