Description should include the following:
- LAHSO is an ATC procedure that may require an aircraft to land and hold short of an intersecting runway or point on a runway.
- If issued a LAHSO clearance, the pilot must be aware of the reduced runway distances and whether he or she can comply before accepting the clearance.
- Pilots should only receive a LAHSO clearance when there is a minimum ceiling of 1,000 feet and three statute miles of visibility.
