Differentiate types of airspace.

Differentiation should include airspace classes used in the United States and the aircraft equipment required for each. It should also include

• definition of special-use airspace (SUA)
• the concept that the designation of SUAs
  • identifies for other users the areas where such activity occurs
  • provides for segregation of that activity from other users
  • allows charting to keep airspace users informed of potential hazards
• Most SUAs are depicted on aeronautical charts, and the FAA maintains a page showing the status of most SUAs.
