Calculate weight and balance.

Calculation should include the following:

• Check the weight of the passengers, the weight of all baggage to be carried, the weight of the fuel, and the empty weight of the aircraft to ensure that the total weight does not exceed the maximum allowable weight and is within the published center of gravity limits for the aircraft.
• Define weight and balance terminology, such as center-of-gravity (CG), moment, and arm.
• Make computations using a CG chart.
