Participation should give students the opportunity to

• practice interviewing skills in a variety of settings
  • telephone or virtual interview
  • face-to-face interview
  • panel interview
  • informal interview (e.g., over coffee or lunch)
• play a variety of roles to illustrate desirable behaviors
  • maintaining eye contact
  • asking informed questions
• identify undesirable behaviors
  • speaking too softly
  • failing to answer questions completely
• emphasize the importance of self-representation (e.g., attire, hygiene).
