    • grid (i.e., create a grid and search one cell at a time)
    • straight line or column (i.e., shoulder-to-shoulder responsibility)
  • specialized search tools
    • K-9
    • helicopter
    • boat, divers
    • volunteers
    • unmanned aircraft.
