Identification should include
- metric vs. U.S. Customary units
- units of measurement for weight (e.g., ounces, pounds, grams) and for volume (e.g., tablespoons, milliliters, cups)
- the difference between ounces in weight vs. ounces in volume tools used for measurement (e.g., scale, liquid or dry measuring cups and measuring spoons).
