• caring for a splint and an orthosis.

according to manufacturer guidelines and other applicable safety precautions, as appropriate for the client's age and physical and mental status.

• Why is it important to have a wearing schedule for a hand splint?
• How should one care for an orthosis? A splint?
• How would one teach a client to apply and remove a foot orthosis?
