Drawing should include
- identifying and using common drafting tools
- sketching plans on graph paper
- using plant symbols
- using construction material symbols
- ensuring the landscape plan is drawn to scale (e.g., using an engineer’s scale, using an architect’s scale)
- labeling plants and materials on the plan
- designing a suitable title block
- using a computer-aided design (CAD) program, as available.
