(Optional) Design bouquets.
Design should include at least two of the following:
- Small nosegay construction
- Bridal bouquet, using a foam holder
- Flower-petal basket
- Hand-tied bouquet
- New techniques in bouquet construction
- using a color scheme, season, budget, and scent
- using seasonal flowers for fresh bouquets to increase longevity
- using hearty flowers to increase longevity
- removing leaves and thorns
- using a focal flower and building around it
- adding filler flowers and accent greenery to add contrast, a natural aesthetic, and volume
- wrap the stems using floral wire, tape, or hot glue
- embellish the bouquet with ribbon, decorative wrap, pearls, rhinestones, etc.
