Course Description:
This course builds on knowledge gained in Agricultural Business Fundamentals (8022) and Agricultural Business Operations (8024). Students will strengthen their skills in agribusiness management, leadership, and professional readiness. Through project-based learning and student‑centered instruction, students will deepen their understanding of business operations, financial decision‑making, marketing strategies, human resource management, and emerging technologies in the agricultural industry. Students will continue to expand their employability skills, develop real‑world problem‑solving abilities, and gain practical experience with the tools, practices, and professional expectations essential for success in modern agribusiness careers. Contextual instruction and student participation in co-curricular career and technical student organization (CTSO) activities will develop leadership, interpersonal, and career skills. High-quality work-based learning (HQWBL) will provide experiential learning opportunities related to students' career goals and/or interests, integrated with instruction, and performed in partnership with local businesses and organizations.
Note: Competencies within this course ensure compliance with the National FFA Organization's Federal Charter Amendments Act (Public Law 116-7). Through this legislation, students are provided opportunities for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
