Course Description:

Students use their knowledge and abilities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and other disciplines to analyze the impacts of technological devices and systems. They apply information acquired through activities and research to predict future technologies. Students use hands-on activities to innovate a product or system based on their research and forecasting skills. Contextual instruction and student participation in co-curricular career and technical student organization (CTSO) activities will develop leadership, interpersonal, and career skills. High-quality work-based learning (HQWBL) will provide experiential learning opportunities related to students' career goals and/or interests, integrated with instruction, and performed in partnership with local businesses and organizations.
