Course Description:

Family and Human Services II students gain hands-on experience in providing human services to individuals and families. Students learn to assist diverse client populations and provide both physical and behavioral health care through managing the home environment, meeting nutritional needs, and examining ethical and professional concerns in the field. Contextual instruction and student participation in co-curricular career and technical student organization (CTSO) activities will develop leadership, interpersonal, and career skills. High-quality work-based learning (HQWBL) will provide experiential learning opportunities related to students' career goals and/or interests, integrated with instruction, and performed in partnership with local businesses and organizations.
