Consultation should include

  • discussing alternative treatments, if applicable
  • gathering the client’s personal information (e.g., name; address; telephone numbers; type of work; birth date; medical history; preference in nail length, color, artificial/natural)

  • How can the consultation help improve service for a client?
  • Why is it important to ask about the purpose of visit and the client's type of work and medical history?
  • Under what circumstances might the nail technician suggest alternative treatments?
