Analyze biosignals.

Analysis should include

•    conversion of signals to numbers (i.e., sampling)
•    matrix manipulation
•    importance of signal and noise levels
•    low-, high-, band-pass filters
•    basic principles of digital signal processing (e.g., use of microcontrollers to process biosignals)
•    applications for diagnosis or monitoring
•    the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in analyzing and interpreting biosignals.

Process/Skill Questions:

•    How are different biosignals interpreted to characterize, diagnose, or predict health and disease?
•    Why is understanding normalcy and its variabilities important?
•    Why are ambient environmental factors (e.g., lighting, electrical noise, vibrations, temperature) important considerations when collecting and analyzing data?
