Capturing should include

• explanation of the purpose and operation of basic software and hardware (i.e., camera, scanner, cables, power source, battery charger)
• identification of recording media (e.g., compact disc [CD], USB, smart media, photo file storage websites)
• explanation of the relationship among the hardware elements
• operation of a digital device, according to manufacturer specifications.
