Course Description:

Geospatial Technology II will build on the exploration of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing (RS), and other emerging technologies introduced in Geospatial Technology I. Students will collect, create, analyze, and apply data to solve problems and analyze spatial relationships. Students will integrate data using real-world spatial analysis. Contextual instruction and student participation in co-curricular career and technical student organization (CTSO) activities will develop leadership, interpersonal, and career skills. High-quality work-based learning (HQWBL) will provide experiential learning opportunities related to students' career goals and/or interests, integrated with instruction, and performed in partnership with local businesses and organizations.
