Course Description:

In this capstone course, students research successful business practices and explore the role of new and evolving technologies related to managing and operating an agricultural enterprise. Emphasis is placed on best management and safety practices used in agricultural enterprises, and understanding agricultural markets. Contextual instruction and student participation in co-curricular career and technical student organization (CTSO) activities will develop leadership, interpersonal, and career skills. High-quality work-based learning (HQWBL) will provide experiential learning opportunities related to students' career goals and/or interests, integrated with instruction, and performed in partnership with local businesses and organizations.

Recommended prerequisite: Agricultural Business Fundamentals I (8022)
