Demonstrate handling of teleconferencing/web conferencing.
Demonstration should include the following:
- Using web conferencing software efficiently
- Following workplace norms in turning one’s video on or off
- Ensuring one’s screen is free of clutter
- Avoiding interruption of the other person when speaking
- Muting oneself when not speaking
- Using the chat function appropriately
- Using special functions of web conferencing software (e.g., raising one’s hand, polls, screen sharing, channels).

- Why is it important to understand an organization’s norms for using web conferencing?
- How can one display a positive and professional image when engaging in a web conference?
- How can one ensure they are engaging in active listening when communicating with a customer?
- Why is it important to use current industry lingo in business communications? How does appropriate use of industry language affect the image of the business and the employee?
